About This Provider

Katie Kowalk, PA-C, joined Colorado Urology in December 2020 and cares for patients’ urologic needs in the Lone Tree/Parker and Aurora offices. Katie works closely with Drs. Sorce, Greenfield, Ledgerwood, Sarram, Huff, and Gourley. She specializes in BPH, kidney stones, UTIs, hematuria, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, female pelvic health, incontinence, and vaginal prolapse. She performs procedures including PTNS, catheter management, pessaries, Testopel placement, ADT therapy, and BCG instillment.

Katie places great emphasis on compassion and connection with each patient. She understands how important it is for each patient to feel comfortable at every visit and she strives to foster a trusting, open relationship with everyone she meets.

Katie comes to Colorado Urology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan and a dual Masters in Physician Assistant Studies and Biomedical Sciences from the University of Toledo. Prior to becoming a PA, Katie worked at the University of Michigan in both the OB/GYN and Uro-GYN departments conducting clinical research and writing publications focused on a variety of common urologic complaints.

Being a former Division-1 collegiate athlete, Katie loves staying active. In her free time, she likes to be outside hiking, skiing, kayaking, and playing an array of sports. She enjoys being a part of the community and volunteers her time clinically, educationally, and as a healthcare mentor.
