About This Provider

Dr. Anderson takes pride in creating treatment plans based on objective evaluation and an understanding of patient needs based on his decades of experience. He has been in private practice since 1997 and joined Alpine Urology, now Colorado Urology, in 2001.

His practice interests include no-scalpel vasectomy, men’s health and minimally invasive treatments of prostate enlargement, kidney stone treatment and prevention, female stress urinary incontinence, sexual dysfunction including Peyronie’s disease as well as surgical and radiation treatment for prostate cancer. He is recognized as one of the top urologists in Colorado in testosterone replacement with implantable pellets. He was amongst the first in the state to treat Peyronie’s disease with Xiaflex injections, and amongst the first physicians in the area to incorporate Urolift procedures for prostate enlargement into his practice. He is also a designated GreenLight Center of Excellence, recognizing his expertise in GreenLight™ Laser Therapy for the treatment of BPH/enlarged prostate.

After training as a mechanical engineer at Tulane University, Dr. Anderson worked in the industry for five years. Subsequently, he attended Louisiana State University in New Orleans and trained in urology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Urological Association, as well as local and regional urologic societies. He is board-certified by the American Board of Urology.
