Dr. Ayman Soubra specializes in Andrology, specifically the treatment of male infertility and sexual dysfunction. He aims to improve the quality of life of his patients who are affected by the treatment of bladder, colon, and prostate cancer, as well as chronic medical problems such as diabetes, kidney failure, heart and vascular disease.
Dr. Soubra holds a Bachelor of Science and Medical Degree from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. He completed his urology residency training at the University of Minnesota, followed by three years post-doctorate research fellowship in urologic cancer research and quality of care improvement. Dr. Soubra has been extensively
published in a variety of prestigious publications and has been involved in numerous research workshops. Dr. Soubra has received several grants to conduct innovative research in an ongoing effort to advance science, and uncover best evidence for practice.
Dr. Soubra is a recipient of the Center of Excellence Award for the treatment of Peyronie’s disease and possesses extensive experience in the treatment of complex urologic cases. He completed his training in a high-volume center for penile prosthesis and is well versed in handling complex revision cases. His prior appointments
at Tulane University and University Medical Center of New Orleans, afforded him the opportunity to work with emergent urologic trauma cases while teaching and supervising residents.
His academic achievements, commitment to professionalism, and dedication to patient care contributed to his election to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. He is also member of the American Urologic Association and Sexual Medicine Society of North America.
Dr. Soubra recognizes the very personal and sensitive nature of many of the conditions he treats and builds his care philosophy around working with each patient to find the best possible course of treatment for them to restore happiness and quality of life. He is a fluent speaker of Arabic.
