Dr. Philip Koi is a urologist with a particular interest in kidney stones, prostatic diseases, female urology (including incontinence), no-needle/no-scalpel vasectomy, minimally invasive prostate procedures, testosterone replacement, and voiding dysfunction. He has been published in numerous scientific publications and conducted four Drug Study Protocols.
Prior to joining Chesapeake Urology, Dr. Koi spent the last 15+ years at Arizona Urology Specialists in Phoenix, AZ where he served as a senior physician.
Dr. Koi received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from The University of California in Los Angeles, CA, before attending Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA for medical school. He completed both his General Surgery and Urology Residency at Montefiore/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY.
Dr. Koi grew up in Southern California. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. Dr. Koi is an avid football and basketball fan. He is also a foodie and loves to travel.
