About This Provider
With specialized training and certification in neurourology, video urodynamic studies, cystoscopy, and Botox injections, Mike works closely with spinal cord injury patients as well as patients with traumatic brain injuries, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, adult spina bifida, and complex refractory bladder issues. He also specializes in the care of veterans with complex urologic issues.
Additional areas of focus include complex neurostimulator assessments, neurogenic erectile dysfunction and penile injections, complex catheter changes, diversion follow-up, as well as bladder issues associated with spinal injury/disease (compliance changes, autonomic dysreflexia, dyssynergia), detrusor overactivity, and sphincter dysfunction. He is certified by the Bristol Urology Institute in Complex Urodynamic Studies and certified in preventive medicine.
A physician assistant since 2005, Mike previously worked with Chesapeake Urology patients at The University of Maryland Rehabilitation and Orthopaedics Institute where he managed the urology and urodynamics clinics. In addition to seeing patients in Chesapeake Urology’s offices, Mike rounds at LifeBridge hospitals in the Baltimore region, providing care and assessments of urologic patients.
His previous experience includes serving as a U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsmen, an operating room technician, and a surgical assistant.
