Owings Mills, MD (April 21, 2021) – Kathleen A. Sterling, M.D., of Chesapeake Urology, has been designated as Axonics Centers of Excellence by Axonics Modulation Technologies, Inc. The designation recognizes Dr. Sterling for her high level of expertise with Axonics Therapy and commitment to changing the lives of patients suffering from bladder and bowel dysfunction.
The Axonics Center of Excellence program recognizes highly trained and experienced physicians and clinical practices that are committed to patient education and providing exemplary care to achieve optimal clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. Dr. Sterling, who sees patients in Chesapeake Urology’s Bethesda and Holy Cross Germantown locations, specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of male and female voiding dysfunction, overactive bladder, and urinary incontinence. Dr. Sterling also serves as Chief of the Urology subsection at Suburban Hospital and has been named a Washingtonian Top Doctor.
