Dr. Kalota received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., graduating as Salutatorian. Her Internship and Residency were both completed at the University of California, San Diego, with a brief sojourn at the Institute of Urology in London, England.
Dr. Susan Kalota is board certified with the American Board of Urology. She holds the distinction of being the first female urologist in the state of Arizona. She has participated in the Peace Corps in the Ivory Coast of West Africa where she developed a well baby program, and is the director of the Urodynamics and Continence Lab at Tucson Medical Center. She holds memberships in multiple local and national organizations including the American Urological Association, past President of Society of Women in Urology and founding President of Tucson Society of Women Physicians, along with many others.
