Dr. Roscoe Nelson is nationally recognized and ranked among the nation’s top urologists. He specializes in the urologic care of men and women with special clinical interests in male and female hormone and sexual health, urologic cancers, voiding dysfunction, prostate disorders including BPH/enlarged prostate, kidney stones, as well as minimally invasive vasectomy. He specializes in the UroLift procedure, a minimally invasive therapy for BPH, and was named a UroLift Center of Excellence.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Nelson serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Midwestern University. He previously held numerous academic and leadership appointments including Chief of Surgery, Arrowhead Community Hospital, Glendale, Arizona; Vice Chief of Surgery, Arrowhead Community Hospital, Glendale, Arizona; Clinical Instructor for Scottsdale Healthcare Family Practice Residency Program; and Research Director, Canyon State Urology, Glendale.
Dr. Nelson grew up in Escondido, California. He and his wife Judy have been married for over 30 wonderful years and have four children. Dr. Nelson is active in his church and community. He enjoys getting to know patients and is very active on the internet at www.peedoc.com.
