Alexis Pedersen, PA-C, MSPAS

About This Provider

Alexis Pedersen, MSPAS, PA-C, graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in public health. While at University of Arizona, Alexis earned Dean’s List recognition and served as the College of Public Health’s Student Ambassador.

She worked as a Patient Care Technician at Honor Health Deer Valley Medical Center, providing hands-on care via EKGs, glucose checks, documenting vitals, and gaining valuable experience in effective communication with patients, families, and colleagues. Working at AUS as a medical scribe in 2018 and 2019, Alexis helped our physicians to deliver highly efficient patient care via documentation, updating of records, and tracking of lab and imaging results.

Alexis earned her master’s in physician assistant studies in June of 2021 from Sullivan University in Louisville, KY, again graduating cum laude and making the Dean’s List. She served as her class Vice President and performed extensive community service during her time in Louisville, working with the DARE to CARE canned food drive and the Kentucky Refugee Ministry.

Alexis is NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants)-certified, and also earned certifications in Bloodborne Pathogen training, HIPAA training, and Telemedicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Kentucky Academy of Physician Assistants and looks forward to both treating and education patients through her work at AUS. Alexis works at the Glendale and Peoria offices.

In her spare time, Alexis enjoys traveling, running, being a foodie, and spending time with her family, fiancé, and dog Bentley.
