Dr. Patel is originally from Baroda, India. He received his medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. Dr. Patel completed his surgery and urology training at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Dr. Patel’s special areas of interest in addition to general urology are minimally invasive robotic assisted laparoscopic surgery, kidney stones, minimally invasive treatments for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), “no scalpel” vasectomy and clinical research trials.
Dr. Patel is on the staff of Northwest Medical Center. He is board certified and affiliated with American Urologic Association, Arizona Urologic Association, and Western Section American Urologic Association.
Dr. Patel is an avid sports enthusiast. He enjoys playing tennis, golfing, and biking and watching football and soccer. He has traveled the world and enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
