About This Provider

Dr. Neuman joined Chesapeake Urology in September of 2018. In addition to practicing general urology for adult men and women, Dr. Neuman specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of BPH/enlarged prostate, including the UroLift System. In 2021, Dr. Neuman was recognized as a UroLift Center of Excellence, demonstrating his commitment and experience with the minimally invasive treatment for BPH. He also sees patients for kidney stones as well as erectile dysfunction (ED).

Dr. Neuman was born and raised in Baltimore and is committed to serving people in the city in which he grew up. After graduating with honors from Yeshiva University, he attended medical school at the University of Maryland. He then went on to complete a postdoctoral research fellowship, from 2012-2013, at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Department of Urology on an NIH training grant. While at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Neuman attended classes at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health while also participating in leadership courses.

Dr. Neuman has published and presented multiple abstracts based on his research in the areas of transplant and prostate cancer. Dr. Neuman received the following awards during residency: The Hustle Award, Excellence in Pediatric Urology Award, and the Preston Littrell Resident Excellence Award (“Resident of the Year” Award for leadership, scholarship, dedication, and surgical proficiency) from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Department of Urology. He is a member of the American Urological Association.
